I have a degree in Chemistry from the RWTH Aachen and got my PhD from the Institute of Plastics Processing IKV. I started with Bayer in 2001 in the plastics division, being responsible for the technical customer support for PC sheets and water bottles. In 2011 I joined the R&D department as a product steward for a certain Makrolon product range. From 2015 – 2021 I worked as the Global Project Portfolio Manager for the PC division and since 2021 I head the Sustainability Technologies department being responsible for the PC recycling technologies, both own technology developments as well as externally available technologies.
